MYP Tutor

The MYP is an International Baccalaureate (IB) program for students between the ages of 11 and 16. It prepares learners for the challenging demands of the IB Diploma, encouraging them to make practical connections between their studies and the real world.

Students who undertake the MYP receive a broad and balanced education. It comprises eight subject groups, with content becoming progressively harder as students advance through school.

MYP Lessons

The MYP can be quite daunting for students as there is a significant increase in difficulty compared with other curriculums for children of the same age. Our specialist MYP tutors are available to provide the guidance and support students need to feel confident in their ability to learn and master new skills.

During MYP lessons, students work with an MYP tutor on their own individualised content, targeting those specific areas in need of improvement or extension. These dedicated MYP lessons ensure support is available to a student if they are feeling unsure on particular areas and need additional teaching to master a skill. MYP tutors utilise a range of educational materials, while students can also bring in their own school work.
